Fleet Feet to Open First Charlotte Location at Waverly
Expanded wellness offerings at Waverly also include added services at The Invigory
Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 20, 2020 — Specialty running retailer Fleet Feet announced that it will open its first store in Charlotte at Waverly, adding to the 90-acre mixed-use community’s comprehensive list of retail and services at the intersection of Providence and Ardrey Kell roads in South Charlotte. The Fleet Feet Waverly location is expected to open later this fall.
Fleet Feet (1,498 square feet) offers unmatched service and support to runners, walkers and fitness enthusiasts of all abilities. As a leader in the run specialty, Fleet Feet is committed to offering personalized outfitting, robust running programs and rewards, community support and outreach, and 24/7 brand access at the Fleet Feet website. Fleet Feet offers high-end running brands such as On Cloud, Hoka One One, Karhu and OOFOS as well as popular brands such as Brooks, Asics, Nike and New Balance, among others. Each Fleet Feet location is locally owned and operated and serves runners based on the belief that “running changes everything.” Founded in 1976, Fleet Feet is the largest franchisor of locally owned and operated running stores with 181 locations in 37 states and a national headquarters in Carrboro, N.C. Other greater Charlotte area locations include Huntersville and Fort Mill.

The Invigory (1,600 square feet), an innovative, holistic wellness studio that opened at Waverly in 2018, has added several new unique natural wellness treatments to its array of services. The studio, which prides itself on its commitment to building healthy immune systems in a modern, friendly, and relaxed setting, now also offers:
- IV Hydration Therapy, which naturally supplements a healthy lifestyle by flushing toxins from the body
- Muscle Mobilization, a hands-on therapy that helps restore function to injured muscles and tissue
The Invigory also offers whole body cryotherapy (WBC), spot cryotherapy, salt therapy (halotherapy), infrared sauna, and muscle relaxation.
