Two new retailers open soon in Waverly

A wellness center called The Invigory and an arch support retailer called The Good Feet Store are the latest tenants that will open in the Waverly development in south Charlotte.
Both locations are expected to open this fall, according to a statement Tuesday from the group behind Waverly, a joint venture between Childress Klein, Crosland Southeast and the B. Frank Matthews II family.
Waverly is the new 90-acre mixed-use development on Providence Road, just south of Interstate 485. It is anchored by a 40,000-square-foot Whole Foods, which opened last spring, and it also includes a Hilton Garden Inn, offices, apartments and dozens of shops and restaurants, including Viva Chicken and DeSano Pizza Bakery.
This spring, construction began on a six-story, 154,000-square-foot building called The Nexus, Waverly’s second office building.
Here some other details about The Invigory and The Good Feet Store:
- The Invigory, which will open in a 1,684-square-foot space, is a health and wellness center that will offer treatments such as cryotherapy, salt therapy, compression therapy and infrared therapy.
- The Good Feet Store, which will open in a 2,335-square-foot space, will offer over 300 sizes of arch supports that are designed to help correct poor foot biomechanics and relieve pain. This will be the first Charlotte location for The Good Feet Store.
“Promoting health and wellness has been part of our vision for Waverly since the beginning and helped guide the community’s walkable, pedestrian-friendly design,” said Peter B. Pappas, managing partner at Crosland Southeast, of the two newly signed tenants.
